Harry Potter fanfic has hp_britglish, and there's the community little_details for multiple fandoms (and unless I miss my guess, at least some Twilight fans are aware of and use it).

What I was wondering is whether writers for Twilight might be interesting in a community that combines both? A place where non-American authors can ask questions about U.S. specific language or cultural details, but also where people could ask for assistance on the details of this or that specific questions. Even if we're writing about myths and imaginary characters, as any SF/F author will tell you, the strength of good SF/F lies in getting the details right. Worldbuilding. In order to make the fantastic believable, the details need to be worked out, especially for what could be known. I'd be willing to create such a community, Twilight specific, and moderate it, but only if there seems to be interest beyond little_details. (I've never been in favor of unnecessary duplification or reinventing the wheel.)

What I have in mind is something where non-American authors can ask about terminology ("car park" = "parking lot"), but also where you can ask questions about history (especially for pre-Twilight stories), or other details such as about American high schools, etc. The one assumption would be that you're NOT being lazy, so we would ask you to indicate what you've done to research this on you own. Queries that could be learned from the Lexicon, or similar, would get deleted.
